Flash Converter 2 Review
Flash Converter 2 by movavi.com is a great tool for capturing web video. It almost got the top spot but was beaten by RipTiger due to its ability to capture streaming video from more sites than the Flash converter 2 product.
However with that said, if you were only wanting a product to capture web video from mainstream sites such as Youtube, Myspace video, Metacafe etc then we would strongly recommend Flash Converter 2.
It is easy to load and configure and has a nice clean and easy to use interface.
It has a URL based downloading tool which means once you are on a site like Youtube and have a video playing that you want to capture, you then merely copy the URL from your browser (eg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkT7A3jegBc&feature=fvst) and paste it into the input field in Flash Converter and it does the rest.
Once the clip is downloaded you then have the ability to transfer the clip from its native Flv file format to other formats for playback on devices such as Ipod, Iphone, MP3 players etc.
