Replay Media Catcher review
Replay Media Catcher is another piece of software designed to capture streaming web video. Where Flash Converter 2 works by typing in the URL of the video being watched, Replay Media Catcher works by recording the streaming video being watched live.
The software was easy to install and configure and has a simple and easy to use interface.
It works by automatically detecting videos being watched and begins downloading them to a folder. It would be nice to see a feature where it asks you first whether you wish to download the video rather than just trying to download any video clip you browse through.
Replay Media Catcher also supports a large number of video sharing sites it can download from. For a up to date list, check their website. We also really liked the feature where you can extract the MP3 audio from a video being watched. All in all a powerful and easy to use bit of software.
